Even in the same week that we celebrate our beautiful country, live our independence, and dance with freedom under the rocket's red glare, we still wake up day after day to turn on the news and hear the shootings, feel the uncertainty, and see the bombs bursting in air.
The dialogue of our country and our world is one with the tint of anxiety, the lean of fear, and the undertow of un-thoughtful words fueled by the wild winds of social media.
Rarely at a loss for words, I don't actually know what to contribute to the dialogue other than to say that we need you. We need you to share your every day moments of clarity and joy. We need to read your kind words. We need see your hard work, your little triumphs, and the world you are creating around you. Share it, and remind us all for a moment that there is good. There is good coffee, there is good food, there are good friends and good sunsets and things in the world for which it is worth coming up for air, fighting through that undertow, and dancing under the rocket's red glare.
And, if what you need right now are some good links to good shoes and ideas for your own good style, I've got you. Links below. Happy Saturday, bright stars.
